Huntz & White is a handmade tie company based in Atlanta by Megan Huntz and Trevor White. They wanted to bring their fun and mischievous nature to the world of ties. Though their ties are very colorful, they wanted to keep their logo a classic black and white but allow a creative side to seep through. This was one of my designs that was taken into consideration for their brand.
In the spring of 2012, a statistical count of the Eastern gray squirrel was taken in the historic Atlanta neighborhood, Inman Park, called the Inman Park Squirrel Census. Looking for a similar feel as the neighborhood, I conducting heavy research of labels and logos in the era many of the houses were built. Art direction by Alvin Diec.
Logo design for my current lifestyle blog, White Space, followed by Glass and Sable. From 2009-2013 I managed a design and inspiration blog, Glass and Sable, and currently run an updated blog, White Space. I share design inspiration, art, and everything in between. I have also featured several collaboration columns by other photographers and designers such as Jason Travis and Kelsey Cronkhite. It has been used as a powerful tool for interviews and photo shoots, and a way to showcase talented artists both in Atlanta and beyond. Glass and Sable was designed and developed by me.
